final
Last night we came across a really awesome character tutorial! You know how we like to make cute characters here at Nurbs at Work. Today we decided to turn the table and show you a killer uncute character tutorial brought to you by vectortuts+. The artist who made this tutorial is Sean Kelly, chances are you have probably heard of him if you are into vector art. He has been a inspirational artist here at Nurbs for a while now and will be included in this week’s inspirational artist section.

We came across this awesome tutorial on vectortuts+. It is also a very cool website with quality tutorials so check that out when you have the time.

I would also like to add that try to study the movement style in general, because it has been getting a lot of attention lately. By the movement style term I used, I mean that while a character is moving, you can see the background change, or morph aswell. This doesnt happen everytime and is most likely to happen in cartoons. Keep an open mind about these little details and add them to your current work for that extra spark of creativity. It will add a lot of life to a dull background.

    Hi GlenStef!
Thanks for the compliment, but then again we are just directing you guys to the makers of this awesome bunny, so we can’t really take the credit! O:-)
We update Nurbs at Work once a day. Sometimes when we are busy or working on a long post, it would take 2 days. But we try to hit that one a day mark everytime.
