Design tip – Emoticons
Who has not seen a emoticon before? Even if an image was made with font format (a simple smiley face) the idea came across and that is the use of an emoticon. Emoticons are a way of experessing human emotions in text or graphic format. But what makes these things so special and why have they taken the world by storm?!?
Ever since text messaging started a while ago and modernised in programs such as MSN and ICQ. It has always been a need for displaying human emotions in digital format. So people have discovered a way! Yes through emoticons of course. But emoticons have been evolving ever since it was introduced a while back. Now they show up in 3d and animated form and EVERYWHERE!
It is also nice to note that these are a art form. Their sole purpose is to get our messages across and maybe even in a funny or cute way. They also offer life and art into our boring text. That makes them an art and joy to watch even if you have seen it 135235 times before.
