HTML 5

Lots of people have talked about it, no body has really announced its officially out yet and just a small group of people are currently working on it as the new platform. Yes it is HTML 5. Like CSS 3 not everyone jumps on it right away due to the support that some browsers give.

Eventhough we can’t really use all HTML 5 features at the moment, regarding your specific audience for when you make a website, it is very important to still keep some advanced features in mind. This is because some people actually do stay up to date with browsers and such and if this is your website’s audience then you should just go on and use HTML 5.

We have found a reall useful cheatsheet on Smashin Magazine not too long ago. This is very handy to keep around, so hang it somewhere close so you can use it for reference. If you are a HTML 5 advance user already then I guess there is nothing stopping you to continue and build a super modern website or web application.

Before you disgard this post and think this does not apply to you, have a look at HTML 5. It is a matter of time before every system out there starts migrating to the new platform and this migration has already started! ;) CSS 3 and HTML 5 are the new generation and I hope when the time comes that you have found a seat on this boat. Download the cheatsheet and do not throw it too far.
